1 Drill

Hold the iGates®DRILL using both hands (clutch on 'drill'... Speed #2 only!)

Drill all the way down to the chuck. Pull up swiftly to make a clean hole. Now, insert the uninflated iGates® to a maximum depth of 10" and a minimum depth of 8". Aproximately.

2 Insert

Slightly fold the iGates® on the bottom tip lengthwise and insert to the depth of the snow line indicator. Straddle the gate between both feet/skis, downhill or uphill depending on the COMBO color you choose. Fill with the Inflator until it shuts off automatically. One push ON. The fill tip unit must be in a paired state with the inflator to turn on.

3 FILL

The inflation system pressure is preset and will shut off automatically once it reaches the correct inflation pressure inside the gate. Push the ON button on the inflator once to start the inflation sequence. AUTO shut off.

It is important to keep the inflator inside the backpack for moisture protection. The backpack is always included.

Ensure the fill hose exits at hip height on your left or right side to use maximum hose length. Hold the fill tip with your right or left hand to insert into the fill valve, hold the iGate with your left or right hand behind the fill valve.

Wait for the auto shut off function to end! Full required pressure must be reached for proper function of iGates. 20psi. 1,38 bar. Pre set.

Close the fill valve plug immediately.

Turn OFF the power switch on the inflator case after daily use to save battery power. OR remove the battery.

Batteries for the inflator not included. Conveniently use the superior DeWalt DCB 206 6 Ah 18/20V battery. This battery also matches the DeWalt Drill. It can easily fill 160+ iGates on one charge. Fill time approximately 6-8 secondsAll imitations/Fakes are inferior, don't waste your money.

Use CR2032 battery for the fill tip control. Remove the hose from the inflator and together with the battery carry it in your carry-on lugage. No need to remove the button battery this way, for travel by air.

4 Deflate & Fold

To pull the tab on the TOP valve, use a stiff arm first. Now, tilt the iGates® away from your head to avoid the short burst of air released. Remove all the air as you fold, using the indicated 'fold line marking' and re close the air release tab on the top, important. The top, tip end of the gate slips under the top band to hold it firmly together.

NOTE:

Gate panels of any kind are not permitted for use with iGates. Warranty is void; it defeats the safety purpose of our System. See the video on how to correctly set up the gate arrangement for official GS, SG & DH.

+ Removal

Firmly grasp the Edge Protection Sleeve and pull the uninflated iGates® from the snow (a brisk tug works best).

Immediately fold the gate from the bottom up, using the FOLD line marking (with the 2 valves/tabs facing up) and place it into your duffle bag. Carry up to 18 gates comfortably.

For long-term storage, dry the iGates®, the Edge Guard on the bottom can get wet.

A SPECIAL NOTE

iGates deliver a significant reduction in impact force: 28.55N vs 44.5 hard gates.

iGates are FULL size racing gates that can be used for ALL official races after approval.

Don't confuse iGates with the short, so called 'gummi' or 'stubbies' training sticks.

Due to iGates' unique design they will replace ALL other full size gates AND the 'almost' gates!

The commonly used term 'brush' bases are inferior in holding power to the iGates massive,

unsurpassed holding power in snow & ice.

Our Recommendation

We recommend the safe and fast skiing style introduced by the inventor. The demonstrated method instructs skiers to clear the gate with the whole body—chest, shin, etc.—and keep one arm outside the gate for smoother movements. Please be aware that it is MOST important the iGates® are being fully inflated to 20 psi, as pre-set in our FS6 Inflator! Only one PUSH=ON. Wait until the Inflator turns off automatically, before removing the Inflator fill-nozzle from the fill-valve. This is why our iGates® work so well. All bets are off if improperly handled.
